I promise to:

• Have a positive attitude
• Demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times
• Be generous when we win; gracious when we lose; respectful always
• Give encouragement to my teammates
• Respect all officials and coaches and accept their decisions without question
• Abide by my coach’s decision regarding positioning and playing time
• Attend and be prompt to all games and practices
• Learn and obey the Laws of the Game and the rules of my league
• Practice individual soccer skills on my own time several times per week
• Notify the coach as soon as I know if I will be late for or unable to attend a game or practice
• Approach the coach with any soccer related questions
• Keep up with my school work so that I may play soccer
• Learn about the importance of fitness for my own health and safety on and off the field
• Work hard at practice and games to improve my skills and my knowledge of the game of soccer. I understand the amount of playing time I receive in games will be based on my skills, determination in practice, effort in games, punctuality and attitude. I know that I may receive more or less playing time than my teammates
• Always support my teammates on and off the field
• Try to be the best that I can be at all times for myself and my teammates
